The Yakima Association of REALTORS® Scholarship Program is open for 2024!

 

Deadline to apply is April 16, 2024
 

Dependents of REALTOR® and affiliate members are eligible to apply for a higher education scholarship ranging between $500 to $2,000!

 

ELIGIBILITY:                            

Dependents under the age of 25, of YAR members and affiliates,

in pursuit of academic degrees. Preference will be given to candidates in under-graduate programs.  

(Not available for continuing education license requirements)

CRITERIA:                               

• Financial Need

• Educational Plans

• Grades

• Applicant traits that coincide with REALTOR® standards.

 

INSTRUCTIONS FOR APPLICATION:

 

• Complete all forms.

 

• Submit two (2) professional and/or academic references from persons most familiar with your background and abilities.  Your references need to reflect your specific qualifications as they relate to the scholarship for which you are applying.  These qualifications will be carefully examined to determine eligibility based on the above referenced criteria.

 

• Include a copy of your grade records depicting classes taken and overall GPA.

 

• Write an essay of 250 words or less pertaining to your educational and/or career goals and how this scholarship award will help you achieve said goals.

 

• Submit application, personal essay and letters of reference by April 16, 2024 to:
